This position is in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Safety and Technical Training, Strategic Outreach Directorate, Standardization Group, Business & Metrics Team, AJI-4110. This Group is responsible for AJI business services including contracts and budgets; employee performance management, awards, personnel requests; and other business and automation services and processes.
Duties
The Program Support Specialist uses experience and detailed knowledge of program operations to support and assist with a variety of administrative and business services in any team within the Standardization Group. The Specialist performs a combination of routine, multiple and varying assignments related to AJI contracts, budget and human capitol issues under the general direction of the team manager or more experienced professional. Typical assignments may include: collecting and analyzing data/information, researching and applying policies and procedures; identifying problems; and, working with higher-level and lower-level professionals in day-to-day operations. This work supports AJI daily operations.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:Experience using automated systems and databases to collect data used in creating statistical charts and graphs.APPLICANTS MAY ALSO QUALIFY ON THE BASIS OF EDUCATION.
