The Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) works to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. Duties

This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, Safety Enforcement Division, Washington, D.C. If applying to a specific duty station, you may be allowed to telework a set number of day(s) per pay period, with "supervisory approval". At the full performance level (GS-9) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Concurs verification in Quicktime. 2. Completes tracking and monitoring requirements required by the Office of Administration, including records plan, property tracking, training records. 3. Serves as office manager, helps plan yearly budget, tracks supplies; services as COR and manages equipment contracts. 4. Develops effective ways to manage, store reports and findings. 5. Assists in creating effective ways to present data. 6. Drafts and reviews external communication, coordinates it disbursal 7. Assists in the planning of team meetings, trainings and events. The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval. Salary Information GS-09 (Step 1) $68,405 - (Step 10) $88,926 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level. This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available. Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet A, B, or C defined below. A. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-09, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1) Experience with government systems such as Quicktime, Concur, FPPS; and 2) Experience in computing systems, such as Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint; and 3) Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools; and 4) Experience managing government purchase cards; and 5) Familiar with federal records requirements; and 6) Experience assisting in the development of meeting agendas, tracking action items and deliverables, meeting minutes, etc. MUST MEET ALL 6 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE STATEMENTS. OR B. Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR C. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
