This position is located within the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) organization, and will be assigned to the Information Safeguards Division (AXF-200) within the Office of Infrastructure Protection (AXF). The mission of ASH is to ensure aviation safety, support of national security and to promote an efficient airspace through the development and administration of policies and programs.
Duties
The incumbent serves as the FAA Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Manager and primary point of contact and is responsible for the agency’s implementation of and compliance with National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM) 28, The National Operations Security Program.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
