About the Position: This position is with 76th United States Army Reserve Operational Response Command G3/7 located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Duties
Develop wartime contingency plans for command training program.
Prepare training plans, examinations, and schedules at lower echelons.
Develop mobilization and alert plans for the immediate geographic area.
Analyze training manuals, directives, and manuals pertaining to training objectives
Determine training needs for command.
Recommends to higher headquarters unit relocations, activation's and modifications of manpower structure
Evaluate training of subordinate elements
Evaluate the Command's training operations through inspections or reviews of reports.
Provide guidance to assure conformance with objectives.
Inspect training schedules, training objectives, and methods of instruction.
Recommend priority and commitment of resources for personnel, equipment and facilities
Assign work to subordinates based on the capabilities of employees
Effect minor disciplinary measures
Identify training needs of employees to assure the conduct of such training
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates.
Conduct training evaluations to ensure standards are maintained.
Ensure unit and individual training plans and programs are established and conducted within Army training guidance and standards.
Evaluate the command operations plans through inspections.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: developing, implementing, and appraising training plans and schedules; reviewing training plans and evaluating operational readiness of subordinate elements through inspections or review of reports; developing budget projections and/or recommending project funds; and delegating work, providing technical advice and guidance to subordinates. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
