You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in th SECURITY PROGRAMS, 83300 of NAVWARSYSCOM.
Duties
You will be an expert in and manage the daily operations of a SCIF environment utilizing independent judgment of complex situations: including all
administrative functions to support full operations.
You will operate and maintain Information Technology assets such as Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) workstations, and Video Teleconference Communications (VTC) equipment capabilities, etc.
You will be responsible for all regulations related to being a Communications Security (COMSEC) user including receiving, documenting, tracking, inventorying, and destroying COMSEC material in accordance with COMSEC guidelines.
You will provide advice for security compliance and efficient design during SCIF modification and refurbishment.
You will review and provide guidance involving the derivative creation; safeguarding requirements; and control of classified material, to include proper destruction requirements.
You will conduct Preliminary Inquiries relating to Security incidents/escorts violations. Provides detailed reports, tracks progress, and provides a final report of the outcome as well as providing management with a corrective action report.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing continuity of security for facility, personnel, visitor control, document control and all other security requirements; ensuring that access to Program Security Information is limited to cleared team members in accordance with all applicable directives, statutes, and dissemination instructions for handling of Classified/Sensitive Data.
