Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 2 years by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years.

Duties
Selects, interprets, and adapts guidelines, directives, established goals, and objectives to meet situations not directly covered.
Responsible for technical surveillance of the Support Base Services (SBS) contract to ensure, mission support is provided at the right time, to the right place, and in the proper quantities.
Advises the SBS COR on logistics estimates and requirements, areas for improvement, contractor performance, quality and logistics support.
Identifies needs and potential problems and adapts supply program policies and objectives to meet the specific needs of the organizations/customers.
Serve as a Survey Officer by conducting Report of Survey investigation IAW AR 735-5.
Responsible to ensure Quality Control for assigned areas.

- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- May be required to work nights/weekends/recalls and/or extensive overtime.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
- This is a Temporary position NTE 30 SEP 2025.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience using supply regulations and policies to process supply transactions; using a supply automated systems to enter, retrieve, and use data; analyzing supply data results to recommend changes; and providing guidance to customers on supply issues.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
