Duties
Serves as a senior logistician and program manager in support of major Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine weapon systems.
Acts as the primary DLA Program Management Advocate and Principal Point of Contact providing direction for Supply Chain support of weapon system and customer needs and other DLA Defense Supply Centers (DSC).
Leads multi-disciplinary Integrated Process Teams consisting of permanent and ad hoc members from DLA, other government entities and industry to develop and implement strategies in support of weapon systems.
Organizes and leads assigned matrixed personnel from DLA, Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and action groups supporting specific programs.
Serves as the DLA Program Manager for specific weapon systems and has the responsibility and authority to coordinate across DLA to ensure Enterprise completion of tasks required to support systems and customers.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Weapons Systems Program Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience in working a wide range of supply chain support functions for assigned weapon systems platforms and major programs.
Experience in systems planning and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Experience in Weapon Systems that deal with life cycle management.
Experience in Weapon Systems performance information for Order fulfillment and Demand Planning personnel.
