Duties
Serves as Operations Manager and Retail Industrial Program Manager’s Supervisor for the Customer Operations Directorate, DLA Aviation.
Provides direction to the Retail Industrial Program Manager’s Data Review Projects, overseeing industrial site initiatives and supporting the supply chain and related mission accomplishment of the Military Service Industrial depot production work.
Conducts and directs research and analysis activities to evaluate customer supportability and to provide material to the industrial customer in a timely manner.
Oversees complex analysis, development and execution of wholesale and retail support strategies
Conducts Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts to identify improvements to end-to-end retail industrial supply processes.
Implements strategic planning initiatives to include intermediate and long range Defense demand and supply chain efforts.
Provides overview for the collection, analysis, dissemination, and utilization of resources, intelligence and data on DLA Aviation capability during emergencies, contingencies and operations.
Supervises the DLA Aviation Logistics Operations Center (ALOC) via the ALOC Chief in support of Aviation and Enterprise level initiatives developed and coordinated with the DLA Agency Synchronization and Operations Center (ASOC).

Qualifications
To qualify for a Fusion Operations Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Analyzing portions of retail industrial and wholesale supply support programs and developing recommended process alternatives
Developing, conducting or participating in project studies relating to the demand or supply chain mission
Coordinating with internal and external functional and technical personnel in developing integrated milestone plans or recommendations for retail industrial/wholesale supply program effectiveness
Experience in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Lean/Six Sigma, and 8-Step Processes to address efficiency and effectiveness gaps within the Customer Operation's span of influence
Developing or implementing contingency operations and emergency plans
Experience in review of policy, procedure and guidance documents from standard operating procedures to OSD joint level publication drafts

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
