You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (LAW ENFORCEMENT) in the MISSION ASSURANCE BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will serve as one of the primary assistants to the Mission Assurance Branch Head, with the administrative and executive responsibilities for all matters that fall within the auspices of law enforcement, dispatch, and corrections. You will serve as the executive advisor on MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN policy involving the implementation and execution of MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN law enforcement and dispatch programs. You will coordinate and de-conflict policy and establish procedures as gleaned from multiple DOD, Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC), Marine Corp Installations Command (MCICON) Military and Government Policies. You will develop law enforcement, dispatch, and corrections studies, budget recommendations. You will conduct program reviews of law enforcement, dispatch, and corrections program within MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN. You will be responsible for the scheduling and review of law enforcement, dispatch, and corrections program orders and directives.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to coordinate and deconflict policy and establish procedures from multiple DOD references; Ability to plan and brief at the senior leader level, ability to serve as the senior representative for USMC Law enforcement, corrections and dispatch, ability to manage a budget and ability to conduct program reviews.
