About the Position: This position is with: US ARMY INSTALLATION MANAGEMENT CMD USAG MIAMI DIRECTORATE OF PUBLIC WORKS HOUSING DIVISION

Duties

Evaluate technical specifications and proposals for all phases of housing planning, development, redevelopment, and construction for residential communities. Prepare for periodic community development and management planning for provisional negotiations and renegotiations throughout the life of the privatization program and anticipates common issues that may change the organizations mission. Develop Installation's Housing programs new policies, procedures, and work-related changes in planning and scheduling of adjustments due to changes in income stream, life cycle maintenance, repair schedules and/or acts of God.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret clearance is required throughout this appointment.
  • TDY may be required up to 10% of the time.
  • A drives license is required throughout this appointment.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the federal service which includes the following. Assist in providing technical specifications, research, information and building proposals for all phases of community planning and development of family housing during development or redevelopment of residential communities. Perform construction analysis research for full performance Engineering Technician to ensure appropriate facility maintenance and repair requirements are kept up with and are made as needed. Recommend appropriate methods for the formulation and execution of construction using required policies and procedures for construction and safety used during construction.
