You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the ???????PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will attend meetings held with Supported Command points of contact (POC) to review requirements and work efforts.
You will perform as a customer liaison for service contracts by relaying supported Command requirements.
You will conduct assessments on completed work or Service contracts to ensure Supported Command satisfaction.
You will visit Supported Command sites to determine the actual nature of work requests and enter any clarifications into the computerized facility management system (Maximo).
You will work with Preventive Maintenance and Production division personnel to ensure preventive maintenance inspection protocols are completed and Condition Index is updated in the computerized facility management system.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to become familiar with specific and unique Support Command technical mission requirements.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Communicating with Supported Command sites to determine the actual nature of work requests and enters information and clarifications into systems (i.e. Maximo); 2) Routing and tracking facility work and identifying issues and concerns 3) Preparing reporting, evaluating key performance indicators, and briefing supervisor on facility issues and concerns for area of responsibility 4) Facilitating coordination with other departments for executing work and supporting facility inspections.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Making visits to Supported Command sites to determine the actual nature of work requests and enters information and clarifications into systems (i.e. Maximo); 2) Meeting with representatives of the shops and contracting office to review work in progress in their areas and identifying issues and concerns associated with the projects; 3) Participating in condition based maintenance inspections and assessments to ensure facility components and equipment are accurately updated in system (i.e. Maximo) and deficiencies identified; 4) Ensuring that systems (i.e. MAXIMO) reflects an accurate equipment inventory for assigned buildings; 5) Ensuring that work is being completed in a timely manner; and 6) Managing and validating deficiency data from Facility Condition Assessments as well as local requirements and recommending projects for the Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Maintenance Execution Plans (MEPs).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.B. or J.D., if related

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
For the GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
