This position is located in the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), ALC Chief of the Contracting Office (COCO) Division, Elizabeth City, NC.

You will serve as Business and Contracting Operations Specialist responsible for performing a variety of contracting/procurement data development, analysis, data improvement, and reporting for various programs,Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Qualifications
GS-13: To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicant must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12 or equivalent) in the Federal sector. Examples of specialized experience include: developing, reviewing, advising and management of complex existing or proposed policy, regulations, internal procedures, and contractual requirements, systems, data analytics; managing, developing, reviewing, and advising on data/information associated with multiple procurement desktop writing systems, acquisition platform reporting systems. These include a full range of component and agency level reporting and oversight function systems including, but not limited to: Federal Procurement Data Systems, Advance Procurement Forecasting System, Financial Management Systems, Purchase Card Reporting Systems, and other contracting Management Information Systems; providing acquisition programs systems technical advice and training.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
