This position is located in the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), General Service Administration. The incumbent will perform a variety of functions in support of providing assistance and authoritative advice in the planning, development, scheduling and operational support at the Central Office or designated Regional office.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Conduct Building inspections and track issues related to the building.
Report on discrepancies and completion of requests for assistance from the GSA/OAS Tenants.
Identify conference and training space and workplace equipment requirements.
Assess and evaluate current and future conference and training space, parking and equipment needs to include maintaining conference room layouts and work areas.
Evaluate conference and training space alternatives and develop recommendations to accommodate conference and training space and equipment needs.
Implement workplace services policy as necessary to support the managing of property and space utilization.
Produce and/or present information and findings regarding the facilities standards that establish design standards and criteria for Central Office or the designated Region of GSA.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date.
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

The GS-12 salary range starts at $95,694.00 per year.To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience participating or assisting in examining organizational processes and procedures and internal customer needs in order to provide customer service to a wide base of internal employees in relation to one or more of the following: (a) evaluation of current or future conference and training space as well as workplace equipment; or (b) space management activities associated with renovations, alterations, office moves, furniture and equipment; or (c) maintaining inventory or requirements for conference and training space furniture and equipment.
