About the Position: This position is with the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 404TH Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, located in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Duties

Responsible for posting the daily ledger, reviewing the daily cash collection, preparing cash vouchers for deposits, and determining usage trends to indicate increases or decreases in rations needed. Operates various automated database systems to maintain account data for transactions to ensure account actions are up to date. Prepares audits of various rations served to assure accuracy of computations. Reviews previous statistics to determine future trends in ration usage.

Requirements

• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

• This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position. The incumbent will be required to obtain Financial Management Level 1 certification within 2 years of entry into the position.

Add the two percentages. Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Time in Grade Requirement: Candidates may be advanced without time restriction to positions up to GS-5 if the position to be filled is no more than two grades above the lowest grade the employee held within the preceding 52 weeks under his or her latest non-temporary competitive appointment.
