This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, District 11.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will conduct and lead diverse and unique projects to gather and analyze data affecting district administrative functions to ensure the success of the USCIS mission and provide assistance and support to both District and Field Office management.
Duties
Performs complex data pulls from administrative systems in order to perform in-depth studies.
Provides in-depth analysis of district/field office administrative programs; responds to data calls from higher headquarters to provide fully analyzed data.
Develops, organizes, and delivers reports of analyzed data.
Serves as District lead for internal controls programs, developing processes, monitoring compliance, and reporting results through the Regional Office to Field operations Directorate.
Develops and facilitates training for all Districts OSS' including developing and/or updating administrative process SOP's and coordinating with counterparts in other Districts to identity and develop enterprise-wide practices and procedures.
Identifies and involves other internal and external stakeholders that can provide collaborative input and assistance.
Initiates projects and monitors project milestones and progress and makes educated judgements and adjusts timelines and assignments as projects proceeds in order to meet the requirements and priorities determined by managements.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/24/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/24/2024.
GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Applying understanding of administrative functions to include Human Resources, Emergency Management, Logistics, Fleet Management, Workers Compensation, Budget and Financial Management.
Applying analytical methods to plan, organize, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of a variety of programs, ensuring compliance with agency requirements.
Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive administrative systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
Resolving broad and/or complex problems and issues associated with planning, coordinating and implementing agency programs and activities.
