The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an acquisition Program Manager and Business Flight Chief, providing planning, directing, organizing and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the organization
Duties
Duty 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the business operations of the 47th Cyberspace Test Squadron, ensuring the detachment complies with legal and regulatory requirement, meets customer needs, and clarifies initial test requirements.
Duty 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
Duty 3: Represents 47th Cyberspace Test Squadron/ Detachment 2 with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Duty 4: Manages a multi-disciplined team to develop, establish, implement and control contractual, financial and logistical aspects of the Detachment.

- Incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- This position is Acquisition Category Level II and incumbent must meet appropriate certification requirements IAW the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) no later than 24 months after accepting this position.
- Must demonstrate sound security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.
Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Supervision/ Management" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: working knowledge of developing, establishing, implementing, and controlling contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition cycle in the area of test and evaluation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
In-depth knowledge of agency, Air Force and DoD acquisition, and national-level doctrine, processes, regulations, policies, guidelines, and initiatives related to assigned program(s).
Expert knowledge of business, industrial management, contracting procedure, technical concepts, and production practices to evaluate contractor proposals and activities.
Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operations of the DoD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interfere with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process.
A high degree of judgement. resourcefulness, originality, and ability to foresee the impact of changing technology.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
