About the Position: Position is located at United States Southern Command Exercises and Coalition Affairs Directorate Training and Exercises Division. This is a TERM position NTE 5 years, May be Made Permanent.

Duties

Administer the USSOUTHCOM Learning Management System (LMS). Design computer-based training content to maintain job skills and performance. Plan skills development training ensuring accuracy and relevance. Establish evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the organization. Analyze training data to report USSOUTHCOM training readiness within the organization.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• This position requires travel away from the duty station up to 10% of the time.
• This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.
• May be required to work overtime.

And 4) Experience analyzing, evaluating, planning, and coordinating complex projects which directly affect operations of the Training Division, Command, and individual training programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) grade level.
