Duties
As the Employee Relations Officer for the GSA Office of Inspector General, you will serve as the employee relations program manager, coordinating and performing a full range of complex employee relations functions and activities:

- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
- Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
Qualifications
The GS-13 salary range starts at $117,962 per year in Washington, DC or $105,029 per year in Kansas City, MO. The GS-14 salary range starts at $139,395 per year in Washington, DC or $124,113 per year in Kansas City, MO. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. GS-13 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience that provided a thorough knowledge of employee relations theories and principles in order to implement a comprehensive employment and employee relations program for competitive and excepted service positions in a Federal agency.GS-14 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that provided a thorough knowledge of human resources principles in order to plan, direct, coordinate and implement a comprehensive employment and employee relations program for competitive and excepted service positions in a Federal agency.
