Duties

Please Note: Employees will be required to report to their assigned office location at least 2 day per week for non-supervisory positions and 3 days per week for supervisory/managerial positions unless the position advertised is designated as a remote-only position. This position is assigned to the Business Development Outreach and Education Division, Office of Small Business, Export-Import Bank of the United States. This Division is responsible for the strategic marketing of EXIM Bank products and services to all eligible small business exporters. At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to: Formulates and implements targeted marketing strategies to educate the general exporting public and related government personnel on function, process, and programs of the Bank. Develops and implements media strategy for various channels (including Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram) and other third-party ad sources (such as editorial sites and event sponsorships) to build brand awareness, educate small businesses on EXIM's value propositions and generate qualified leads. Writes targeted collateral to include white papers, blog posts success stories, case studies, web landing pages, and e-mail. Writes, edits, and provides input into EXIM Bank program and marketing literature including development, publication, and dissemination to the public. Performs research and analysis of U.S. export market components. Administrates the sales and marketing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases to produce, track, and measure marketing efforts.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes: Experience formulating and implementing targeted marketing strategies to educate the general public; Experience writing targeted collateral in multiple forms (i.e. white papers, blog posts success stories, case studies, web landing pages, and e-mail); Experience creating content, developing, and implementing social media strategies and posts; AND Experience using a sales and marketing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs to monitor and track progress of strategies. GS-13: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes: Experience formulating and implementing targeted marketing strategies to educate the general public; Experience writing targeted collateral in multiple forms (i.e. white papers, blog posts success stories, case studies, web landing pages, and e-mail); Experience creating content, developing, and implementing social media strategies and posts; Experience using a sales and marketing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs to monitor and track progress of strategies; AND Experience developing new relationships and working collaboratively with external partner organizations. Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 or GS-13 grade level.
