This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Facilities Operations and Services Division (FOSD), Facilities Services Group (FSG), Alterations Work Group (A WG). The incumbent serves as the Supervisory Construction Manager over a group engaged in planning, coordinating, designing, estimating, and inspecting reimbursable projects.

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Incumbent is the Supervisory Construction Control Representative, encompassing direct responsibilities akin to those of a Program Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Engineering Technicians. Performs inter-agency coordination, as well as provides technical engineering, construction management, and architectural support for A WG projects. Advises the A WG Branch Manager on daily project management operations and acts as the principal point of contact for the A WG Customer Service Advocacy Team (CSA Team).

• The incumbent must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification within 24 months after starting the job.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
