This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Facilities
Operations and Services Division (FOSD), Facilities Services Group (FSG), Alterations Work Group (A WG). The incumbent serves
as the Supervisory Construction Manager over a group engaged in planning, coordinating, designing, estimating, and inspecting
reimbursable projects.

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
Incumbent is the Supervisory Construction Control Representative, encompassing direct responsibilities akin to those of a Program Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Engineering Technicians.
Performs inter-agency coordination, as well as provides technical engineering, construction management, and architectural support for A WG projects.
Advises the A WG Branch Manager on daily project management operations and acts as the principal point of contact for the A WG Customer Service Advocacy Team (CSA Team).

- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Incumbent must possess the legal and personal qualifications to operate passenger-type motor vehicles.
- This position may require up to 5% occasional travel away from your normal duty station for official business on military or
commercial aircraft.
- The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
and/ or overtime.
- The incumbent must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
within 24 months after starting the job.

You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates in their resume that they possess specialized experience in: 1) entire life cycle management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects, adhering to laws, regulations, and policies, and steering the development of projects (2) Serve as a Customer Service Advocacy Team Lead of project designs and construction by in-house staff and external consultants,; 3) Serves as Contracting Officer Representative, responsible for representing the Contracting Officer in evaluating contract performance.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
