You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ORDNANCE OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND.
Duties
You will plan, direct and controls (a) requisitioning, recording and distribution of expendable ordnance.
You will perform space control/utilization and physical inventory.
You will maintain and improvement of automated inventory recording systems, reports and files.
You will develop plans and guidelines for subordinates relating to such matters as program goals, individual performance standards and quality checks.
You will monitor the operation of the staff ensuring effective use of personnel, facilities, and material.
You will maintain control of the unit's cost center budget and ensures full fiscal accountability.
You will ensure that the management of all ammunition assets is correct, efficient, and responsive to customer/fleet requirements.
You will monitor the establishment and maintenance of storage plan for all ordnance material.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating inventory operations by utilizing an automated inventory management systems to compile and analyze inventory data in order to identify deficiencies and recommend changes to support ordnance operations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
