About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQDA Field Operating Agencies and Staff Support Agencies, G-3 Operations, Readiness and Mobilization in the Pentagon, Arlingotn, VA.

Duties

Serves as a Project Manager in the Operations and Technology Division; Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization Directorate; Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, in support of the Army. Duties are broad in scope but key among them are project management, resource management, doctrine, and technical support to Army Special Access Program (SAP) planners. Conducts detailed research, analysis and review in preparing staff actions and coordinating support to operations, contingencies and crisis action. Serves as primary action officer and point of contact coordinating and completing staff actions and preparing and delivering briefings Ensures that all operations and support data is current and coordinated with HQDA proponent.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two- year trial period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance based on a single-scope background investigation (SSBI) and be eligible for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) indoctrination.
  • Position requires TDY at least 25% of the time.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
