Duties
Maintain director's calendar Scheduled Air Travel Office/Commercial Travel Office (SATO/CTO).
Complete travel arrangements for Defense Travel System (DTS).
Complete Army Time, Attendance, and Production System (ATAAPS) Timekeeper duties each pay period.
Use electronic mail to receive and respond to inquiries.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Proficiency in typing is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Maintain all aspects of the director's schedule; 2) Make travel arrangements to include, arranging schedules of visits, making reservations, and/or submitting travel vouchers; 3) Prepare a variety of material using a computer terminal and keyboard and 4) Organize meetings and conferences to include distributing materials needed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6).
