The primary purpose of this position is to deliver administrative support in various areas as requuired.
Duties
Serves as the primary point of contact to the commander/director for administrative support programs such as task management, Defense Travel Systems (DTS), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, supply program, civilian timecard program, Awards/Decorations, EPS/OPRs, etc. Develops and implements procedures to track program status of various programs status and maintain program health. Identifies and responds to trends of programs and keeps them operating at or above satisfactory levels. Communicates requirements and provides guidance to Division members. Attends required training, meetings and functions as required. Advises management on policy and executes directives through established procedures.
Ensures unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies and organizational leadership directives. Oversees all mandated administrative support programs. Assist commander/director in accomplishing assigned personnel, orients them regarding the basic functions of the organization, introduces them to key personnel and schedules their initial training/orientation requirements.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization. Develops, establishes, updates and maintains office procedures and record/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions,
Clerical and Administrative Support Positions
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience: Ability to plan and organize management programs, organize work and meet deadlines, gather and analyze information and present facts by effectively communicating.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents to include, but not limited to letters, reports, spreadsheets and graphs.
Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively using tact and courtesy.
Skill at fact-finding, problems analysis, problem resolution and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
Ability to plan, organize work and meet deadlines.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
