You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Command Joint Region Marianas of COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS.
Duties
You will conduct periodic evaluation of policy, processes and procedures for compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
You will develop and conduct executive-level briefs, support completion of reports as required and assist with reporting requirements for actual incidents.
You will prepare plans and procedures per higher headquarters policies and directives to support new projects.
You will coordinate with professional and technical personnel on matters involving operating specifications or modifications, to equipment or systems.
You will be required, conducts liaison with contractor and cognizant interagency personnel who are conducting engineering investigations or installing modifications related to hardware and software deficiencies.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Work may require some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts, or driving an automobile.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You may be required to remain accessible during work and non-working hours and must be prepared, and expect, to be recalled in the event of an emergency or event relating to the subject requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing policies, regulations, precedents and planning, guidelines and processes, coordinate with security personnel of various installations on matters involving operating specifications or modifications to equipment or systems.
