About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate for Resource Management, Performance, Analysis and Evaluation Department, at the Naval Medical Center, Camp Lejeune, NC. The purpose of the position is to maintain effective and efficient data collection systems which enhances management decision making. These data collection systems provide reporting of expense, manpower, and workload at the local, headquarters, and service levels
Duties
Input workload, manpower and expense information into the Expense Assignment System (EAS IV).
Analyze all workload and manpower information in the command
Participate in development and preparation of functional procedure documents, manuals, or directives used in various work centers for successful implantation and maintenance of MEPR reporting requirements.
Perform comprehensive studies of the data in each specified work center and classifies by statistical codes.
Transmit military labor, MEPRS, and GENESIS data utilizing and other computerized systems.
Develop and maintain the Training Program to ensure accurate man-hours and workload performance reporting and improve management techniques.
Provide training to managers and timekeepers and approvers of all levels within the Command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the
duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless
otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with evaluating resource management functions such as labor, time, and workload for improvement recommendations; utilizing office automation systems for entering and tracking personnel and/or financial data; auditing employee timesheets for accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as healthcare management, financial management, or healthcare administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
