About the Position: Assigned to the Civilian Protection Center of Excellence (CP-COE), Learning Division serving as the senior specialist and project manager for Professional Military Education.

Duties

Subject matter expert for Professional Military Education (PME), leads the design and development of learning content related to civilian harm mitigation and response (CHMR) for inclusion in PME. Identify content requirements and opportunities for integrating CHMR learning objectives in existing and new PME programs of instruction. Align the design and development of CHMR content and learning objectives in PME with professional tracks and certification standards for key CHMR personnel and functions. Coordinating with senior officials and counterparts from Military Department, Service, and Joint proponent counterparts for identifying CHMR learning gaps and requirements, and for integrating CHMR learning objectives and content in PME. Coordinate the delivery and uptake of new CHMR content and revisions with key institutional counterparts. Develop a project workplan with clear milestones and deliverables, and monitors project timelines to ensure milestones are met.
