This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Duties
You will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials with docking area and scheduling personnel to facilitate movement of materials.
You will perform a complete range of storage, re-warehousing, and consolidation assignments such as placing, arranging, rotating, marking, tagging of items for all assigned weapon systems.
You will perform material inventories, location audits, and material documentation reviews using manual or automated inventory systems.
You will safeguard materials and equipment, remain alert and challenge unauthorized personnel.
You will read, interpret, and apply technical data such as performance standards, performance work statement specifications, or technical manuals.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You "may" be coded as "key" as as such may be required to be removed from your military recall status. A signed statement of understanding is required.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holiday to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Forklift Operator license.
- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You may be required to work different shifts.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is the ability to perform common tasks including the ability to perform the work of a Materials Handler as demonstrated by experience, working under normal supervision receiving, issuing, handling, storing, and inventorying, supplies, equipment, and materials, in accordance with prescribed regulations; performing inspections of incoming shipments to check for damage; documenting discrepancies; reading shipping and tracking documents; complying with prescribed proper handling and storage procedures; following directions to place material in location which provide for maximum space utilization; performing the rotation, or relocation of stored items, as directed; using computer systems and/or scanning devices to track material.
