This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base and Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory General Supply Specialist for Pine Bluff Aresenal.

Duties

Supervise Branch functions. Process documents requesting supplies and equipment. Perform cyclic inventories. Coordinates all aspects of supply operations. Supervise suborinate employees.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• Incumbent must maintain AA-E security certification/screening IAW AR 190-11.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Planning, directing, and/or implementing an item (including ammunition) management program; 2) Tracking and/or monitoring the receipt, storage, and/or issuance of ammunition, explosives or wholesale material; 3) Resolving supply issues; and 4) Leading projects and/or personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
