Duties
Provides technical support in the delivery of curriculum in an on-line environment; troubleshoots applications and delivery platforms for trainers and participants to ensure effective training delivery.
Reviews and processes requests for travel arrangements and reimbursement in the agency’s Defense Travel System (DTS); assists division staff with input of information, travel regulations and system requirements, and generation of travel orders
Uses a variety of automation tools such as desktop publishing, graphics, word processing, to illustrate LDD programs and products, communications, publications, course offerings, high-level briefing charts, marketing materials, and services
Assists Specialists in the development of instructional materials; participates in the research of new learning and development products available to the agency.
Responds to inquiries related to the use of various automated tools such as the Learning Management System; and accessibility of course information. Coordinates LDD responses to ASKHR questions, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-06) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is described as providing administration or technical support for a workforce development/training program; examples of duties include supporting training specialists in the development and delivery on on-line training modules; creating communication or correspondence in support of training programs; and using automated systems such as a learning management system, human resources records database to store, retrieve and provide reporting in support of the mission.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-06 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Education
GS-07 (1-grade interval) Substitution of Education for Experience: One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required
when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
