You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12443502-24-AMC. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Duties

You will be the central point of contact for aviation repairable material support. You will ensure that the functional goals and objectives of the repairable management section are achieved. You will coordinate the establishment of new requirements and requisition material for new and increased allowances. You will aggressively expedite dues by interrogating supply systems and files for availability of material to satisfy requirements. You will conduct extensive data collection and correlation and apply general standards and guidelines in preparing concise, analytical conclusions.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to lift/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated supply systems to expedite and track material or supply procurement actions. GS-6: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated supply systems to assist with tracking material or supply procurement items. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled;
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
