About the Position:
Position is located in Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC); Logistics Division, Basement Rm. 40-239. Hours of work are 0730-1630. Selectee will be responsible for procurement, via Government Purchase Card (GPC), of general office supplies and equipment of CRDAMC staff.
Duties
Utilize the Government Purchase Card (GPC) for purchases of supplies and equipment including reconciliation of all items purchased and bank statements monthly.
Process invoice payments utilizing the Department of Defense Finance Accounting System Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Ensure that automated transactions have been processed by verifying computer input and output data.
Compute balance on hand by posting gains, losses, inventory adjustments, date and/or voucher number to the station property book.
Maintain accurate accounting and reporting system files for non-expendable property.
Prepare documentation of discrepancies to be reviewed and approved by the Accountable Property Officer (APO).

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes ensuring supplies meet regulatory standards, maintaining supply or inventory records, and participating in inventory checks or audits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Qualified typist is required (40 wpm).
