About the Position: This position is located with U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Cavazos, TX. This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. Please see "Additional Information" section below for further details.

Duties

Maintain required document registers for expendable, medical, chemical, durable, maintenance, rental, and/or service contracts/requisitions. Reconstruct records for complex supply transactions. Receive, review, and/or forward applicable Government Owned Container reports to respective/designated Hand Receipt Holders for inventory of applicable Government Owned Containers. Ensure adherence to applicable supply regulations, policies, and/or procedures within serviced organization. Identify property and/or equipment by markings as prescribed by regulations. Coordinate and/or conduct inventories of non-expendable, TDA and/or CTA in various activities throughout installation. Coordinate property listings, forms, and/or transactions with Hand Receipt Holder and/or with Property Book Officer. Coordinate and/or conduct periodic 100% physical inventories with responsible property office for different divisions/branches of respective assigned directorate.

  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes preparing procedures for annual inventories and conducting investigations to determine causes of inventory discrepancies by checking property purchase orders, surveys, and/or transfers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
