This position is considered Regular Part Time with a guarantee of 20 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular Part Time employee, you are eligible for annual/sick leave benefits; Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and Retirement.
The starting pay for this position is $17.00 per hour.
Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assists in providing recruitment and placement service to NAF activities by processing job announcements for USAJobs.
Responsible for a full range of personnel actions such as appointments, position and pay changes, transfers, and separations.
Provides specific items of information to NAF employees regarding personnel matters.
In-process new employees, providing an overview of employee benefits and assisting in the completion of employment documents.
Inputs personnel data into the automated NAF personnel data system to process a variety of personnel actions.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A T3 NACI background investigation and credit check are required.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind.
Experience that required the applicant to acquire and apply knowledge of the rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of one or more areas of a personnel system is required.
Typing skills and knowledge of office automation software are required.
Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
