This position is to support, oversee, direct, and provide therapy services that are delivered to the students at the Chemawa Indian Boarding School and to provide direct care services, and has direct supervisory control over designated subordinate staff of School-Based Mental Health Professionals and designated support of the Integrated Behavioral Health Program. The position reports to the Behavioral Health Director.

Duties

Under the direct administrative supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, oversees the work of designated subordinates. Serves as clinical supervisor for a multi-disciplinary team Ensures that the Behavioral Health department actively participates in Quality Improvement activities as appropriate. Monitors all goals and objectives within the service unit business plan. Assures that Behavioral Health program practices are consistent with Indian Health Manual and Oregon Administrative Rules. Responsible for regular patient/client caseload, including intensive therapeutic services, consultation, and support to the student patient form Chemawa Indian School in the area of substance abuse, additions, and co-occurring disorders (prevention, treatment, and aftercare). Provide Integrated Behavioral Health services and integrated care consultation. Supports the optimal program operation and promotes improvements in population health as part of supporting the Integrated Behavioral Health program. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Psychology Series, 0180 Degree: Clinical psychology: For positions at grades GS-11 and above, satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required. Social Work Series, 0185 Degree: Social Work: Must fulfill all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Master's degree with practicum: Applicants who complete all of the requirements for a master's degree in social work that included a practicum are eligible for GS-9. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE GS-12: One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level is required. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following job-related types of work and/or tasks Examples: of specialized work experience include in managing a team of mental health or behavioral health workers, handling administrative tasks and ensuring the team functions smoothly. include hiring and training new staff, setting schedules, assigning cases, and connecting team members with resources from other departments. Track patient data and assist with complex cases. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR REQUIREMENT for GS-12: Licensure Requirement, GS-0185, Social Worker This position requires a current, unrestricted U.S. State license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW). Licensure Requirement, GS-0180, Clinical Psychologist This position requires a current, unrestricted U.S. State license as Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Please provide a copy of your license with your application. Applicants who do not meet a selective placement factor are ineligible for further consideration. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
