This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Duties

Assist in the planning markets and conducts an ongoing program to provide conditioning programs for facility users. Instructs in the proper conditioning and training for aerobic and muscular fitness, and flexibility.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
• This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
• Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment.
• Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
• Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience monitoring/executing/managing a basic physical fitness program, AND a Fitness or Personal Trainer Certificate PLEASE NOTE: Your resume & application package must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
