Duties
You will advice and assist the Directorate of six departments, i.e. Facility Maintenance, Public Works, Water Resources, Family Housing, and Bachelor Billeting/ Facility Resource Management on instillation CPI practices.
You will plan, formulate, justify, coordinate, present, execute, and review management programs administered at the G-F Directorate, including organizational review/ planning; manpower management; mission/function analysis.
You will facilitate, consult, assess, and analyze problems, resolve disputes, formulate strategic plans, program implementation, and build cross functional relationships.
You will plan, direct, and conduct complex programs and projects in resource management to evaluate ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operation.
You will perform a variety of administrative, analytical, evaluative, technical, and advisory services for AC/S G-F and program managers regarding functions of position management, training plans, and budget matters.
You will collaborate and coordinate with servicing Human Resources Office (HRO) on civilian personnel related matters to assist AC/S G-F managers and supervisors with HR actions, procedures, requirements, and to resolve management problems.
You will review requests for personnel actions and facilitate the coordination of distribution of the directorate's classification actions, and develop alternatives to meet workload requirements.
You will compile statistical data and supporting documentation to justify requests for special salary rates, retention bonuses, special recruitment methods, etc.
You will be the oversight and final authority for the Training and Travel Program.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating, reviewing and executing manpower management, organizational analysis, process improvement review, strategic planning and advising on budget matters, position management and training plans for an organization.

Education
Specialized experience can be substituted with the appropriate qualifying education in the case that the applicant has achieved:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
Applicants can also qualify through a combination of education and experience which when combined equal 1 year of specialized experience
