Duties
You will process applications for permanent and temporary quarters for accuracy and completeness of data.
You will evaluate information and participate in resolving a variety of minor housing problems.
You will participate in regular or periodic surveys or audits to identify housing requirements or deficiencies and prepare reports of the activities assigned.
You will follow up on housing deficiencies to ensure corrective actions are taken.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds is required.
Qualifications
For GS-7:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Ensuring proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Housing Program; 2) Receiving and processing complaints and related investigations concerning residents;
3) Processing requests for permanent and temporary quarters;
4) Scheduling and coordinating the maintenance and repair of housing units and conducting follow-up inspections to verify that discrepancies are corrected.
For GS-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Assisting with complaints concerning residents;
2) Assisting applicants and their families with housing needs;
3) Evaluating the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of housing units.
