Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as experience developing, implementing and recommending diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility policies, procedures and guidance.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of DEIA, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), human resource, administrative, environmental protection principles, and procedures.
Skill in developing and modifying plans to implement diversity goals and objectives.
Skill in written communication in order to persuasively convey program needs to high level managers for decisions.
Skill in oral communication in order to persuasively convey program needs to high level managers for decisions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
