Duties
As a/an Senior Account Executive, you will:
Understand and evaluate new developments in the marketplace that could have a potential impact on the business and search for opportunities to enhance business practices to adapt to market changes.
Provide recommendations to management on adjusting the business strategy to adapt to changing market conditions. Provide HUD staff, lenders and other stakeholders with excellent customer service.
Ensure that all policies and procedures are properly observed, all transactions are conducted with authorized personnel, all records and contracts are complete and up to date, and all customer position limits/risk tolerances are observed.
Lead team discussions, prepare technical reports for management, represent the Department in discussions with key stakeholders, and provide lender profiles/summaries on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Performing quality assurance evaluations of property and staffing in multifamily housing programs, to ensure the property is in accordance with governing regulations and program requirements, and the programs are being implemented effectively by the staff; AND
- Independently researching, interpreting, and applying statutes, regulations, program guidance and procedures of multifamily housing programs, including the Section 8 Program and the FHA mortgage insurance programs (underwriting); AND
- Analyzing financial data, comparing statements and recent financial information within a large portfolio of properties to assess financial data for approval or denial of any of the following: rent increase approvals, tenant/resident activities, refinancing, prepayments, transfers of physical assets (sale of properties), changes in the corporate regulations, by-laws, budgets, and recommendations for property disposition.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
