Salary: $139 395 - 181 216 per year

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner.

Duties

As a Branch Chief Account Executive Team, you will: - Serve with responsibility for directing the day-to-day activities of the assigned team, including distribution and balancing of workload, tracking work progress and status, estimating and reposting on work completion, instructing the team in specific tasks and job techniques, responding to and assisting with technical issues and problems, reporting on work performance and training needs, and administering the gain and loss of employees. - Manage the efficient and effective coordination of evaluating new developments in the market place that could have a potential impact on the business and to enhance our business practices to adapt to market changes. - Exercise significant authority for program operations delegated from the Division Director. - Serve as a supervisor of the Account Executive Team, with full leadership and administrative authority for the operations of the account executive team, including both goals management and performance management.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience is 1 year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: - Leading or managing a team of employees and monitoring their progress towards achieving project goals and objectives; AND - Coordinating and supporting a variety of housing asset management functions such as Project-Based Section 8, preservation of affordable housing, rental subsidy administration, risk management , and program compliance; AND - Consulting with and providing technical assistance to program officials, residents, citizen groups, and Federal, state, or local government officials on a variety of federally assisted housing or affordable housing issues. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
