Duties
You will serve as a Supervisor IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cybersecurity DIV N62, Cyberspace Operations Dept N6, Command Group CMSA Lant N00, Norfolk, Virginia.
You will perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities for a subordinate staff consisting of IT Specialists (GS-2210-12/13) and Information Technicians (E5/E6).
You will ensure systems meet CMSA LANT's requirements for system availability, scalability, and interoperability.
You will coordinate the activities of assigned division personnel.
You will oversee the design, development, and management of secure and compliant classified and unclassified systems, networks, and services.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

GS-13: In addition to the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience applying advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of cybersecurity and systems engineering services in support of the TLAM federation and to providing the N6 Director and CMSA LANT Commander expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on complex and critical IT interdependency, integration, and operational issues.
Experience performing interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines (e.g., systems administration, customer support, network, data management, internet, and planning and management services), new IT developments and applications, and emerging technologies sufficient to develop comprehensive integration plans for new server technology with existing TLAM system architectures and to ensure the integration of IT programs and services.
Experience applying advanced information security principles, concepts, and methods to lead the implementation of DoD security programs that anticipate, assess, and minimize vulnerabilities of DoD, National Geospatial and Intelligence Agency, U.S. Strategic Command, and other agency systems supporting Department of the Navy's TLAM weapon system.
Experience performing systems administration and enterprise IT architecture theories, principles, concepts, and methods sufficient to design and manage CMSA LANT systems that meet current and future business requirements; to evaluate, identify, and resolve negative impacts on current and planned IT architectures; and to develop and oversee the implementation of migration strategies and sequencing plans for continuity of operations during fielding of new systems.
