About the Position: Serves as Help Desk, Customer Service Assistant at the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCOE)performing a variety of functions associated with the operation of help desks, the Army TrainingHelp Desk (ATHD), and the Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP).
Duties
Responsible for providing instructional technology computer support to resident and online training programs and supporting the resolution of issues submitted via the web and phone by MEDCOE personnel worldwide.
Employee independently completes assignments in accordance with accepted practices, resolving most conflicts that arise
Provides multiple methods of instructions, evaluation, and counseling to students.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing processes and utilizes web-based customer support and learning management systems to facilitate training functions and student access to enterprise customer documentation training issues; i.e., support involves facilitating documentation and resolution of issues related support designed to address technical, content, and to distributed learning programs that support mandatory, certification, recertification, professional development, readiness , and blended- learning training programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-06.
