This position is in the OCOO's Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) located in Washington, DC.

The Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for: Leading the development of the SEC's data management strategy and priorities; Enabling data analytics to support enforcement, examinations, and policymaking; and ensuring that the agency only collects the data it needs to fulfill its mission and can effectively secure. Under the Evidence Act, the OCDO is also responsible for compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act.(PRA)
in the agency. PRA compliance activities include:
Completing daily processing and submission of Information Collection Requests (ICR's); and completing the processing of new rules and submission in OMBS ROCIS system.
Completing daily processing and submission of collections (60 and 30-day notices) in the SECs PRA SharePoint portal.
Completing the daily monitoring, extrapolation and processing of collections and submissions notices from the Daily Federal Register feed from the Government Print Office (GPO).
Completing the first of every month processing and assigning out of all new task extensions for that given month.
Completing the submission and processing of Informal review requests submitted to OMB.
Fielding daily calls and emails from the Division PRA reps and lawyers on a host of questions, problem solving, etc.
Coordinating and chairing the Monthly SEC OMB PRA status Touch Point Meeting.

- DIRECT DEPOSIT: All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit to a financial institution of their choosing.
- This position is not in the collective bargaining unit.
- This position is eligible to request telework in accordance with the SEC 's telework policy.
Qualifications
All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Time-in-grade for this announcement is one year at the SK-13 level.
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the SK-13 level:
Reviewing documents for accuracy and processing them in agency systems
Communicating and conveying complex or technical information (oral and written) to a variety of audiences; AND
Managing multiple high-priority/high-visibility tasks, including overseeing multiple short-suspense timelines.
