About the Position: This position is located with U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Cavazos, TX.

Duties

Uses skill in negotiating/maneuvering over rough/unpaved surfaces in holding yards and major item receiving and shipping areas. Uses this knowledge and ability to resolve recurring problems and perform a range of standard clerical assignments such as filing documentation and indexing materials for identification purposes. Operates computer terminals or personal computers to perform records search, data input, and data corrections. Processes updates and transactions into the appropriate Retail Supply, Supply Support Activity (SSA) stock record account.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control act of 1968. Persons convicted of a Misdemeanor or Felony Crime of Domestic Violence is not eligible for the position.
• This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with AR 690-85.
• A pre-employment physical is required.
• Required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license and any installation and or DoD License required for the type of vehicle being drive including the operation of a government passenger vehicle.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain forklift training certification and license.
