This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Base New Orleans, Naval Engineering Department, Industrial Production Facility, in New Orleans, LA.
Duties
This position serves as the principal administrative support to the Industrial Production Facility of a Naval Engineering Support Unit (NESU), under the Industrial Operations Division (IOD), of the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), United States Coast Guard, New Orleans, LA.

Qualifications
To Qualify for the GS-07: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: developing administrative procedures, instructions, and internal controls (e.g., tracking systems); analyzing records to identify productivity trends and/or training needs of staff members; performing on a regular and recurring basis using automated information systems; reviewing/editing correspondence; maintaining a filing system.
MUST RESIDE IN THE LOCAL COMMUTING AREA (SCREEN OUT), unless you're exempt from this requirement.
