Duties

As a Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties: Performs simple and routine maintenance and repairs of grounds, exterior structure, build equipment and related utilities. Assists higher graded maintenance workers in the performance of their work. Utilizes a variety of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, sledgehammers, paint brushes, rollers, etc. Performs minor carpentry repairs. Performs minor painting. Performs minor plumbing repairs such as tightening or replacing in-kind fittings and fixtures which do not require custom fitting or solder joints. Receives, unloads and processes incoming shipments. Operates a light truck and operates a forklift to load and unload supplies/pick up supplies.
