These positions are Career-Seasonal appointments and are permanent positions that include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately early May to mid-April, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.
Duties
Primarily performs Electrician duties in the residential and commercial building sector, installs, programs, and maintains intrusion/fire/assess control panels, assists other trades persons in installation and maintenance of other utility systems, offer technical advice to co-workers, possess the skills to modify/repair wall board, and the knowledge to prevent weakening building structures while installing electrical circuits.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to do the Work of an Electrician Without More than Normal Supervision(SCREEN OUT)
Possession of a valid WY, MT, or ID state issued Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent from another state)
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
Theory and Instruments (Electrical Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade Practices
Ability To Use Electrical Drawings
Ability To Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work)
