This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (l&A), Collection Management Division.
Incumbent will serve as the Team Lead for the HUMINT Operations Coordinator, Collection Management Division, I&A Office of Collection. The incumbent must be an experienced, senior Intelligence Officer with significant operational experience.
Duties
The incumbent must possess strong liaison, communication, and leadership skills to include the ability to interact and brief senior government officials in many forums as a representative for the Collection Management Division and Office of Collection.

Requirements
- Must be able to hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is covered by the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Overtime may be required in response to a significant event.
- Overnight Travel of 1-5 nights per month may be required.
- Relocation expenses are authorized.
- Individual must sign a Mobility Agreement.
- Incumbent is subject to polygraph examination, if required.
- Employee may be deemed an essential employee and may perform “exempt” activities during a lapse in government appropriations.
- Employee must have significant experience in HUMINT Operations and Liaison
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
For GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal services to perform duties in Intelligence Collection efforts to enhance and guide HUMINT Operations activities for and on behalf of DHS. This includes the ability to train other Intelligence Officers in Overt Collection techniques and procedures
You must have one year of specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Such experience could be gained from:
Serving as the subject matter expert for an organization in HUMINT activities.
Serving as a HUMINT team member of a team executing and supporting intelligence collection activities, reporting, and policy development.
Instructor or mentor in developing and delivering learning both as formal classroom training and as a facilitator and mentor.
Education
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level
