This position is located at the Fort Yuma Health Center, Winterhaven, CA. This position is responsible for various Supply Management, and Property Management functions such as procurement, inventory control, storage, issuance accountability, utilization, transportation, and other services.
Duties
Maintain stock control records, issues, receipts, storage allocation, stock control level, variance and inventory adjustments using a Supply Management System.
Provides technical support to other clinic employees in areas of inventory management, receiving, control, distribution, cataloging, receipts and cost containment.
Enters Requisition Requests for Purchases into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) for items above the Micro-purchase threshold. Enters receipts for items that have been received into UFMS for invoice and payment processing.
Receives and verifies shipment of equipment against packing slip/purchase orders; notes shortages, overages, damages, or discrepancies.
Responsible for all Government Motor Vehicle check-in and Check-out system for the Health Center.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS- 2005-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Maintaining inventory, stock, and/or property account records; preparing pick lists and receiving reports; & receiving supplies through automated systems. OR
4 years of education above the high school level OR
Combination of education and experience that when combined fully meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for GS-05 grade level.
GS-2005-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Utilizing the Unified Financial Management Systems (UFMS) or a similar automated system for ordering and receiving supplies in a health care setting; reconciling transactions and processing payments for recurring invoices; & compiling/reviewing/maintaining data from contracts, purchase orders, and/or requisitions.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
